Resilient Homes

Resilient Homes marks a groundbreaking partnership between MAB and Effective Energy Group, setting a new standard in the industry. This collaboration empowers MAB ARs to engage with their customers as trusted advisors, introducing the concept of Retrofit – a topic that most other brokers currently are unable to address.

This initiative not only enhances customer relationships but also strengthens MAB’s unique value proposition further, positioning them at the forefront of the marketplace.

Empowering Customers To Make More Sustainable Energy Choices

We are a group of companies providing energy-related services to individuals and business. Together, we work to install renewable energy solutions, support local and national contractors, and reduce the nation’s carbon footprint.

Our Services

Solar PV

Converts sunlight into electricity, lowering your reliance on the grid and cutting energy costs. For most homes, Solar panels cut electricity bills by up to 50 – 70%.

Battery Storage

Stores excess solar energy for use when the sun isn’t shining, ensuring a steady power supply. The stored electricity will also provide a backup in the event of power outages.

Insulation

Keep your home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer with loft and cavity wall insulation – all while reducing energy bills on average between £150 to £600 a year.

EV Charger

Provides a convenient way to charge electric vehicles at home, promoting sustainable transport and significantly reducing operating costs of the vehicle.

Glazing

Improves insulation, reduces heat loss and noise, and enhances security. This can reduce energy costs up to 20%.

Heat Pumps

Transfers heat from the air or ground to heat your home, offering an efficient alternative to traditional heating systems which could save up to £340 a year off your energy bills.

How It Works

After discussing the financial benefits of energy efficiency and the customer’s interest in retrofitting, the AR completes an online form to initiate the quotation process.

If the customer is undecided, reference materials can be provided for review before the next appointment.

The form’s information allows Effective Energy Group )EEG) to prepare an indicative quote. if the customer chooses to proceed, the AR informs EEG, which then contacts the customer to arrange a remote survey. From the point, EEG assumes responsibility, concluding the AR’s role.

Example FAQs

Solar panel efficiency is graded by the overall light energy that hits those solar panels and current market leading panels are between 21 – 24% efficient. Effective energy use only market leading Tier 1 panels and average efficiency for these is 22-24%.

Solar panels have a performance guarantee for 25 years, after 25 years use their performance will typically still be at 80% of install capacity. Battery warranties are typically between 5 – 10 years currently and these are improving as technologies are improving all the time.

Yes, this is an outright purchase, whether you are doing this via finance or via your mortgage it is your system, you own it, you manage it, you maintain it.
